Welcome
A little about Ron "RJ" Johnson
Ron “RJ” Johnson was an award-winning WBNS videographer and freelance photographer who lived in the Short North and died at the age of 56. A talented artist and great friend to many in the community, “this memorial fund will benefit students in The Fishbowl The City Interactive Multimedia Technology Program and scholarships to students currently in Multimedia Technology programs at Columbus State Community College and Ohio State University.”
The "Friends of Ron Johnson Fund". RJ died quite unexpectedly, leaving much of his life’s work in pseudo-disarray. We are currently undertaking the effort to not only organize and archive his photography, but also to raise funds to offer scholarships to the Interactive Multimedia Technology program. Our goal is to develop a program that will allow at-risk youth to experience broadcasting, production, photography, photojournalism and filmmaking. |
